Archive for December, 2012

I received an automated e-mail from WordPress.com with the annual stats for my personal blog. It’s fascinating to know that visitors from 39 different countries came to check out my blog! Below is a link to review the full stats. Not bad for a first year!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The new Boeing 787 Dreamliner can carry about 250 passengers. This blog was viewed about 1,300 times in 2012. If it were a Dreamliner, it would take about 5 trips to carry that many people.

Tu as touché nos vies.
Tu as touché nos coeurs.
Nous t’aimons.
Repose en paix, papa.

I came across this documentary teaser. Landfill Harmonic is an upcoming feature-length documentary about a remarkable musical orchestra in Paraguay, where the musicians play instruments made from trash. It is about people transforming trash into music; about love, courage and creativity. Wow.

Bon.

I’ve got goose bumps just by watching the trailer.

And here’s another good trailer:

Darn, I have to wait until May 2013 to see the movie.

DolphinTaleA heartwarming tale based on a true story. After getting tangled in a crab trap, an injured female dolphin is rescued. During its convalescence, an amazingly strong friendship develops between the dolphin and a young boy.

This is a very nice family movie you will enjoy (some parts are tear-jerking!) I invite you to watch the trailer below. Oh, and if you want to see Winter (the dolphin) at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, you may do so at http://seewinter.com (there are several web cams).
